Your are not LAZY

Hi All:)
So when I was thinking about the newsletter for today, I wanted to share with all of you something we all experience but do not share and talk a lot about
And maybe a reason for it is that a lot of us know what the ideal scenario is, we know what we are capable of and not being able to live upto out potential is not a proud thing or a great thing to talk about and in fact may come with its fair share of judgement and influenced perception of our credibility and value
And that is Lack of motivation or rather PROCRASTINATION
Its unwillingness to do what needs to be done
It’s the increasing checklist of items that need to be completed
And this leads many people to term others or themselves as LAZY but in my opinion, this is not them being lazy or unmotivated but rather it’s them not knowing what they want to do and as a a result not knowing how to do it and as such have no motivation as nothing to strive after
And as a result more likely to procrastinate getting something done due to the lack of obessesion and lack of identification of a certain goal or task we are looking to accomplish
This is why I say that its the lack of PURPOSE that makes people LAZY or rather likely to be lazy and distracted

Some things I do to help me find my PURPOSE (this is a long term process, does not happen overnight):
Participate and get involved in multiple opportunities and try different things. The more things you try, the more better idea you will get of what you like and do not
Talk to a lot of people from different industries and careers and try to understand what their lives look like and what got them there
Take time to reflect upon your experiences. A lot of us have the tendency to do things and move forward without giving ourselves any time to think and reflect on our experiences which ultimately is what provides clarity. This could include reflecting on what about your experience did you like, did not like, if you could imagine yourself doing it for the next 20 yrs+ and so on
And in the meanwhile, when you find yourself procrastinating, here are two things you can do:
Reduce the number of decisions you have to make today:
Every decision we make has an energy consequence. If you wake up in the morning, and you need to ask yourself, “What do I need to do today?” — well, you’re about to procrastinate the shit of today. If you approach each new day without having given thought to what you want it to look like ahead of time, then you’ll waste a large portion of your energy thinking about what to do and what not to do.
The NEXT ACTION habit, focus on something doable:
The key to this tip for avoiding procrastination is to figure out the very next physical action—no matter how small—you need to take to move something forward, be it a task, a project, a phone call, or whatever else.
Want to learn how to stop procrastinating? Learn how to shift your focus. Shifting your focus to something your mind perceives as doable makes the difference that makes a difference.

A quick reminder, we have 44 weeks left in 2025. This can be very less or a lot for someone, depends on how you decide to use these 44 weeks!!!
If there is something you want to work on, someone you want to talk to, a dream you want to achieve - don’t wait for tomorrow.
